Hakkımızda

Ben Saziye,  esim Alan Peacock  ile birlikte 2004 yilinda bu projeye basladik. Proje sirasinda Alan Ingiltere’de kalip bana burasi icin finans sagladi.

Yilda uc dort kere buraya gelip bana Projenin gidisatinda destek oldu. Bu arada dayim Recep (Alan ona Roger der) iki sene kadar bana yardimci oldu. Projemiz bittiginde mekana Club Olympos adini verdik.

Bir sene sonra restaurantin Konumu pek kullanisli olmayinca bir gun arazide buldugum cok guzel sekilli bir tas beni yeni bir restaurant yapmaya yoneltti.  Sonucunda cok guzel, eski gorunumlu, rustik, modern izler tasiyan ciftlik evi seklinde bir yapi ortaya cikti. Cok sayidaki insani doyurabilecek miktarda yemek yapmayi  ogrendim. Ogrendikce yemek yapmayi daha cok sevdim. Bolgede yetisen tazecik sebzelerle ev yemekleri yapiyoruz.

Baslangictan bu yana epeyce sey degistirti burada tabii. Ismimiz de degisenler arasinda,  Olympos Park oldu.

Esim de burada, simdi kendimizi yuvamizda sayiyoruz ve misafirlerimizi de evlerindeymis gibi hissettirmek en buyuk dilegimiz.

ESTABLISHED 2004.

I Saziye, me and my husband Alan Peacock entered into this project in the year of 2004. During the process of the construction and development of the land l was in charge while Alan was in England providing the funding .

Alan visited at least three to four times  a year to help out, also my uncle Roger (Recep) stayed here for over nearly two years to help her with the construction and controlling the building project. When the project finished we called it Club Olympos.

In the beginning especially during  the winter months this was a very hard time due to the fact we were living in very crude accommodation, all the cooking l had to do on an open fire or barbecue. All the water for washing and even bathing had to be heated in a copper  vessel which  was given to me by my mother (Note:  my mum has past away, this item is still in the premises and l treasure it).

After a year l was not happy with the restaurants position so one day l found a beautiful shaped stone on the land and started to make a stone wall unaware that would be the new restaurant . Yep, it turned out to be a beautiful old fashion rustic farm house  with a modern twist. I learned to cook for the crowd.  The more l learned cooking, the more  enjoyable it became, now we do traditional style cooking from locally grown fresh produce.

Since the beginning so many thing has changed, even our name become Olympos Park now.

We have made our home here together,  our aim  is to make our guests to feel at home too.
